Oneika Mays (CMT-P, E-RYT, LMT) is a mindfulness teacher, yoga teacher, and author of Sit With Me: A No-BS Journey to Mindfulness and Meditation (HarperOne, 2026). She has guided practice across a wide range of communities, including four years as Mindfulness Coach at Rikers Island, and teaches at Yoga International, Kripalu, and Lincoln Center. Her work centers on making mindfulness accessible to people who haven’t traditionally seen themselves reflected in wellness spaces.

Kiana Taghavi is a second-year J.D. Candidate at Columbia Law School. While in law school, she has externed for the Federal Defenders and for a judge at the Eastern District of New York. She also serves on the board of A Jailhouse Lawyer's Manual of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review. Prior to law school, Kiana earned her B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University.
