The Columbia Law School Mindfulness Program, along with the Mindful Law Students Association (MNDFLSA), is happy to invite you to a Daylong Columbia Law School Meditation Retreat.
The retreat will take place on Sunday, November 18th, from 10 am – 5 pm (non-pizza lunch will be served), in Case Lounge.
Dr. Home Nguyen will guide students, faculty, and staff through this day of silence and reflection with a variety of mindfulness-based meditation practices. Participants can expect to alternate between guided sitting, walking, and eating meditations throughout the day. The afternoon will close with tea and discussion of the day's experiences, home practice, and any other questions that arise.
No specific background or previous experience is required: All are very welcome!
If you are interested, please RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible and no later than November 14th, at 5 pm. Lunch will be provided to the first 30 people who register.
If you have questions, or if any disability accommodations would help you to participate fully in this event, please contact J.C. White at [email protected]. Columbia University makes every effort to accommodate individuals with disabilities, so please let us know if any changes, for instance to the format or the sound system, would be helpful.
