Awaken Your Senses: The Science and Study of Sound Meditation

March 9, 2022
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Event time is displayed in your time zone.

This will be an opportunity to engage in a sensory-based experience in a practical and approachable way. The session will be led by Sound Practitioner, Arianna Bickle, and hosted by CLS Student, Keith Geddings. Please join us for an immersive and meditative sound experience via various instruments. No prior experience necessary.

Arianna Bickle currently calls New York City home after graduating from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a double major in Dance Performance and Digital Media. Her initial introduction to meditation was sparked during the completion of her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification program in 2012. With 5+ years of teaching yoga under her belt, she felt the calling to shift her focus more deeply to her own spiritual path. Training under the guidance of sound meditation expert, Sara Auster, she received her Sound Practitioner Certification in 2017. Shortly afterwards, she joined the teaching staff at MNDFL; the first ever drop-in meditation studio in NYC. She currently continues to hold space for others through a private practice of both yoga + sound healing.

Keith Geddings graduated from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Management in 2014. Prior to law school, he worked in real estate finance as a consultant and then joined the regulatory compliance team at an investment bank for several years. At Columbia Law School Keith has been a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team, has served as the Co-Chair of Professional Development for the Black Law Students Association, and is currently an Articles Editor for the Columbia Business Law Review.
