John Christian White

John Christian "J.C." White is the Coordinator of the Mindfulness Program at Columbia Law School. In this role he organizes events for the program and works with faculty and staff to ensure the smooth functioning of its daily operations. At Columbia Law School, he is also Program Coordinator of the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership and serves as a faculty assistant.

Prior to coming to Columbia Law School, J.C. received his Master of Arts in Religion, concentrated in Ethics, from Yale University. There he focused his studies on the potential of ethical theory to provide conceptual foundations for human rights law, especially in serving the interests of women and LGBTQ populations. During this period he also worked in the Dean's Office of Yale Law School.

Alongside his Master's degree, J.C. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender & Sexuality Studies from Tulane University.
